Set to the song “I Would Like to Be a Bird,” a young mouse crafts leaf wings, amusing his brothers as his attempts fail. After rescuing a butterfly that turns out to be a fairy, he wishes for real wings, but his bat‑like look leaves him out of place with both birds and mice, making him friendless even the bats tease him. Story by Jon Reeves.
