Mickey is reading Gulliver’s Travels when the orphaned mouse children pretend to be sailors. After unintentionally ruining their game, he apologizes by recounting the Liliput adventures as his own experience, portraying himself as Gulliver. The story ends with Mickey saving the town from a giant spider (Pete), only for a child to reveal a fake spider on a fishing line that startles him.
