Following the style of M*G*M’s ‘The Great Ziegfeld’, the story follows a sailor on shore leave who falls for a young woman dreaming of a Broadway dance career. Their budding romance is threatened when a celebrated Broadway star, also attracted to the sailor, interferes, creating a tense love triangle amid the glitter of the stage.
