After the stressful operation, Ray and Gina head to the Amalfi Coast for what they hope will be a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The picturesque surroundings offer a stark contrast to their recent experiences.

Ray and Gina's tranquil getaway is abruptly interrupted when they are kidnapped by mercenaries led by Martin Axe. The mercenaries' intentions are clear, and the couple's lives hang in the balance.

In a heartbreaking turn of events, Martin Axe demands information about the rescue operation, and when Ray refuses, he is forced to watch Gina's execution. The loss devastates Ray, igniting a burning desire for vengeance.

Enraged by the mercenaries and in the heat of the moment, Ray confronts Axe but is brutally killed. This moment marks the end of his previous life and the beginning of a dark transformation.

Ray wakes up in the advanced laboratories of Rising Spirit Technologies in Kuala Lumpur, where Dr. Emil Harting reveals that he is the first successful subject of the Bloodshot program. Ray learns that his body has been enhanced using cutting-edge Nanite technology.

At RST, Ray meets other patients including resilient KT, who has endured a life-altering injury, Marcus, and Jimmy. Each individual has their unique struggles, highlighting the dangers and consequences of the technology they have undergone.

Haunted by memories of Gina's death and the looming presence of Axe, Ray utilizes his newfound Nanite abilities to track Axe down to Budapest. His journey for vengeance leads him into a brutal confrontation.

In a violent encounter, Ray faces Axe and his bodyguards, utilizing his Nanite powers to eliminate them. Although he suffers injuries, the technology keeps him alive, fueling his rage and desire for revenge.

After his violent confrontation, Ray undergoes a reboot at RST, but Dr. Harting manipulates his memories each time. This coercion redirects Ray's thirst for vengeance towards other targets to serve Harting's interests.

Ray mistakenly kills Nick Baris, believing him to be involved in Gina's kidnapping. It's only after Wilfred Wigans activates an EMP bomb that Ray begins to uncover RST's true tactics and realizes Gina is still alive.

As chaos erupts, KT struggles against Harting's control while aiming to help Wigans escape. Together, they unite with Ray in a final push to take down the corrupted operation at RST.

The confrontation culminates in an intense battle within the RST facility, leading both Ray and Harting to confront their deepest fears and desires. The ensuing chaos ends with the destruction of the facility.

In a final act of defiance, Ray activates a grenade meant for Harting, leading to both their demises. Yet, miraculously, Ray awakens once more, now more self-sufficient and ready to reclaim his life.
