Blood Harvest

Jill returns to her small hometown after college and finds the community hostile toward her banker father who forecloses on family farms. She reunites with her friend Sarah at the diner and goes home to discover her parents are missing and the house vandalized. The unsettling welcome sets the tone for a visit filled with secrets and dread.

In the kitchen, Jill encounters her old neighbor Gary and a stranger dressed as a clown, The Marvelous Mervo. The clown persona is clearly unsettling and hints at a darker family history. Gary and Merv leave together, taking the clown with them.

Later, Jill and Gary revisit their childhood in the old treehouse, sharing memories and old pains. Gary reveals that his parents were murdered, a trauma that looms over the clown persona. The scene foreshadows the danger lurking behind Mervo's mask.

That night, Jill endures harassment from a masked figure and seeks help from the Sheriff. When the Sheriff and Jill return to the house, they find the vandalism repaired, as if nothing had happened. Gary later admits he fixed the windows and repainted the house.

Gary recounts the family tragedy to Jill in the midst of the mounting mystery, while Merv's clown identity is tied to their past. Jill reveals she is engaged to Scott, which upsets Gary and adds tension to their fragile dynamic. The conversation deepens the sense that everyone has something to hide.

Merv is seen bringing food to an unknown woman who is being held hostage, signaling a darker, hidden side to the suburban nightmare. The scene hints at control and secrecy behind the mask. The stranger's prisoner status raises the stakes for Jill's safety.

That night, Jill is stalked by the masked figure and is drugged with chloroform. The assailant tries to lead her toward the barn where others await, but the Sheriff arrives and halts the intrusion, leaving Jill shaken but unharmed for now. The threat feels personal and all too real.

The next morning, Jill's fiancé Scott arrives and focuses on sexual advances, creating an uncomfortable dynamic. After a tense moment, Scott heads toward the barn to follow a suspicious figure and is attacked. Gary watches from a distance, deepening the sense of danger.

Sarah arrives later and is stalked by the masked figure, who drags her to the barn and kills her. The town’s fragile safety crumbles as Jill's friends fall victim to the crimes. The body count begins to rise, amplifying the horror.

Jill is drugged again while the Sheriff checks the house; Scott is found tied up, alive, but then the masked figure slits his throat. The violence escalates quickly, leaving Jill isolated and terrified. The pursuit of truth becomes a fight for survival.

Merv arrives and takes Jill to their house, revealing a suicide note that claims their parents' deaths were staged. He also shows photographs of Jill naked and sleeping, proving Gary is the masked perpetrator. The revelation reframes the nightmare and ties the crimes to Gary and Merv.

Gary threatens Jill with murder, and Merv intervenes by shooting Gary. Merv explains that Gary forced him to hide the crimes, and the two brothers walk out of the barn together. Gary remains alive, slowly opening his eyes as the film ends, leaving Jill's fate and the tied-up woman unresolved.
