Black Mask 2: City of Masks

Kan Fung escapes the organization that granted him his powers and vows to use them for good. He adopts the moniker Black Mask and begins seeking a geneticist who can cure him. The decision marks the start of his mission to help others rather than be used as a weapon.

Lang, a high ranking member of the organization, is tasked with locating and killing Black Mask. A tense cat and mouse dynamic emerges as Black Mask evades capture and tests Langs resolve.

Promoter King announces a major event featuring top wrestlers. The show descends into chaos when Iguana assaults Ross, prompting Black Mask to intervene. The crowd realizes the prizefighters are more than mere athletes.

The pursuit leads to a tower where Iguana attempts to flee. Black Mask tries to save him, but Iguana declares he is not a monster and slips away, plummeting to his death. Chameleon watches as Iguana s form reverts to human, deepening the mystery.

It is revealed that the wrestlers were injected with animal DNA by Dr Moloch to heighten their fighting abilities. The injected DNA grants them animal hybrid morphing powers and fuels their thirst for vengeance. They set out to track Black Mask.

Chameleon starts moving naked to stay fully invisible, an unsettling image as she shadows her target. The invisible stalker complicates Black Mask s efforts to stay ahead. Her presence raises the personal stakes of the chase.

Black Mask locates Dr Marco Leung, a geneticist who might cure him, and reaches out through anonymous calls. He befriends Raymond, Ross s young son, forming a fragile alliance that could prove crucial if a cure is found. The search for a cure becomes central to his mission.

During a confrontation with the wrestlers, Black Mask is injected with animal DNA by Moloch, transforming him into a tiger hybrid. The new power helps him fend off the stalker but also deepens his internal conflict about his humanity. The change intensifies the dangers around him.

Dr Leung identifies a chemical component that could cure the tiger DNA. Black Mask secretly retrieves the necessary chemical during a confrontation with the wrestlers. He takes the cure, purging the tiger DNA but triggering a violent reaction that leaves him dazed and wandering the city.

Black Mask confronts Invisible Chameleon who warns that her invisibility may fade. She hints at the true cost of their powers and recalls Iguana s death as a turning point in their moral choices. Chameleon becomes semi visible and resolves not to disappear.

In the next day s climax, Lang incapacitates Moloch and a city wide bomb capable of altering DNA is prepared. Snake is killed by Black Mask, and Wolf is accidentally killed by Thorn in the dark. General Troy battles him and is crushed by falling pipes while pursuing Dr Leung. Chameleon ambushes Thorn, takes the bomb, and hands it to Black Mask; they cling to a beam as Thorn dies and Chameleon briefly reappears before fading.

Lang tightens his grip on Black Mask, but Black Mask overpowers him and detonates the threat, preventing the city from being rewritten. The following day, Dr Leung receives a call from Kan Fung and leaves the lab, riding away on Kan s motorcycle, signaling that the cure has succeeded. A quiet sense of resolve settles over Kan Fung s future.
