The film opens with a river‑side invocation as Krishna rises from the water atop the serpent Kaliya. Yashoda rocks his cradle, seeing him as Gopala. Kamsa imagines countless copies of Krishna and watches his own severed head rise and fall. Devotees of all castes bow, and a title‑card reads, ‘May this humble offering be accepted by the Lord.’
