The film’s climax finds Bhaskar, now cursed with the werewolf bite, torn between his human instincts and the feral power coursing through him. After a frantic night in which the hunters corner Anika— the ancient guardian who originally gave him the curse— Bhaskar chooses to embrace his new form instead of fleeing. He transforms deliberately, a guttural howl echoing through the forest, and battles the hunters to free Anika. In the struggle, the old “ojha” releases her, and the two wolves share a brief, poignant moment before Anika collapses, mortally wounded.

With her life fading, Anika’s eyes turn the same blood‑red as Bhaskar’s. He watches her die, then lets out a mournful howl that reverberates across the trees, signalling both his loss and his acceptance of the role she tried to pass on. The red glow in his eyes tells us that the werewolf spirit has fully claimed him, turning him into the new protector of Ziro’s woods.

The story then jumps forward six months. Rather than bulldozing a highway through the forest, Bhaskar and his allies have rerouted the road around it, sparing the trees. Back in Ziro, a modest shed has been repurposed as a “kennel” where Bhaskar can safely change when the moon is full. One night Janardhan opens the door to find his old comrades Vicky and Bittu, who have come looking for him to tackle another supernatural threat. Before Janardhan can explain, the sound of Bhaskar’s transformation draws the newcomers inside, and they are confronted with the hulking, snarling wolf that is now Bhaskar.

That fleeting encounter hints that Bhediya lives in the same universe as Stree, linking the werewolf’s battle to the earlier fight against the vengeful “Stree” spirit. The ending therefore works on two levels: it resolves Bhaskar’s personal arc— a brash outsider turned guardian of the forest— and it opens the door for future cross‑overs, showing that the supernatural forces of these stories are part of a larger, shared world.
