Bhediya

Bhaskar and his cousin Jana arrive in Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh, to undertake a road construction project. They are welcomed by locals Jomin and Panda, who show them around and introduce them to the community.

A wolf attacks Bhaskar on his rear end during the night. He is rushed to local doctor Anika, who reveals herself to be a veterinarian and treats him despite her inexperience.

The next day Bhaskar recovers miraculously and discovers heightened senses of smell and hearing. He also realizes he can communicate with animals, signaling a radical change in his abilities.

Local tribes and residents oppose the project due to deforestation, complicating Bhaskar's work. Tensions rise as the community questions the ecological impact of the road.

Two officials involved in the project die amid alleged animal attacks, raising alarms. Bhaskar confesses to his friends that he has become a shape-shifting werewolf and has been responsible for the murders, leaving them horrified.

Bhaskar's friends decide to chain him at night at a remote location to prevent further attacks. They prepare carefully, hoping to curb his nocturnal fury.

A police officer investigates the werewolf truth and confronts Bhaskar. During the confrontation, Bhaskar is attacked and killed by the very wolf that bit him.

Horrified, Bhaskar and his friends consult a Shaman who explains the cure requires being bitten by the same werewolf on the New Moon at the same place. This ritual sets the stage for a final confrontation.

Bhaskar goes with Jana and Jomin to the special place and learns that Anika is the werewolf.

Anika reveals she was bitten by a werewolf over a century ago and has guarded the forest since. She admits she initially planned to kill Bhaskar but decides to spare him due to his kindness.

Anika is shot and captured by the local police, but Bhaskar transforms into a wolf to rescue her. They manage to subdue the cops and retreat toward a cliff.

At the cliff, Anika dies from her wounds, and Bhaskar, who has fallen in love with her, vows to reroute the road to avoid deforestation.

In the post-credits scene, Jana chains Bhaskar to contain his transformations while his friends Vicky and Bittu visit. Bhaskar suddenly transforms into a werewolf and appears before them, terrifying them.
