The plot thickens with the troubled Lamar, who violently assaults his wife, Lavonia, in a shocking display that ends with her retaliating by kicking him where it hurts. As Lamar proceeds to his junkyard job, Lavonia dallies by a nearby lake, where she spots a young boy swimming. Seizing this opportunity, she strips down and launches herself into an unexpected encounter, leaving the boy—who turns out to be just fourteen—caught in her web.
