Friedrich is a talented young boxer from a working‑class family, whose raw skill catches the eye of a recruiter looking for the next star of the regime’s future leadership. With his father quietly opposing the government, the offer of a Napola scholarship represents both an escape from poverty and a chance to carve out his own identity away from his family’s dissent.
