Beast Stalker

During a routine police bust in Hong Kong, Sergeant Tong Fei leads a team that includes Sun, Christy and Michael. A fleeing suspect's actions are aided by an unreliable snitch, causing chaos on the scene. Sun is shot but saved by his bulletproof vest, and Tong harshly disciplines Michael for failing to act during a door breach.

Tong and Sun pursue the criminals who hijacked a car. A passing Jeep collides, seriously crippling Sun. Tong fires at the fleeing criminals, killing two and causing their hijacked car to crash; the lead criminal falls into a coma.

Tong learns that he inadvertently shot Yee, Gao Min's elder daughter, who was hidden in the trunk during the hijack. The revelation shatters him and pulls him into a deep guilt cycle. Gao Min, a single mother, focuses her attention on Ling in the wake of Yee's death.

Three months pass before Cheung Yat-tung awakens from his coma. Gao Min insists he face trial immediately despite the obstacles. This renewed push for justice sets the stage for Ling's kidnapping to become a new crisis.

Ling is abducted by Hung King, a one-eyed fixer with his own agenda. Hung threatens to alter evidence to secure Cheung's acquittal. Gao is pressured to cooperate, while Tong is pulled back into the case.

Gao rejects Tong's help, saying she'd rather have any other cop save Ling than Tong, whose presence reminds her of Yee. Tong turns to Christy and then Michael for aid, hoping to cut through the case's red tape. He apologizes to Michael for past reports and grudges, which convinces Michael to reconsider.

Tong's off-book investigation leads to a garbage centre where he finds a SIM card. With Christy and Michael's help, he traces MMS messages and contact records, revealing Ling is being held in a neon-lit apartment. The clues lay a path for a rescue.

Sun spots Hung in a restaurant during a lunch break and tries to alert Tong. A tense chase ensues as Tong closes in, but Hung's fighting skills overpower Tong and disarm him. The pursuit spills into the streets with PTU officers joining the chase, yet Hung vanishes.

Hung commandeers an armored car and pins Tong and the PTU, after knocking out a security guard. He uses the vehicle to outpace the officers, escaping deeper into the city as the chase continues.

After the violent pursuit, Tong agrees to surrender his sidearm pending an internal investigation. Gao arrives at the scene, and Tong reveals Ling's location, setting the stage for a potential rescue.

Tong and Sun enter Hung's apartment and uncover a hidden room containing Hung's deteriorating wife. The discovery deepens the case and reveals Hung's ruthlessness, intensifying the pressure to locate Ling.

Tong uses GPS data to track Hung's movements after Ling's captivity; the search narrows to a location near Hung's hideout. They move to execute a rescue, with Ling's safety as the central goal.

Tong corners Hung and delivers a brutal shot with a rock, subduing him. In a twist, Hung is revealed to be the Jeep driver from the earlier crash, the same man who sent Sun to harm in the earlier operation.

With Ling recovered, Hung, now blind, surrenders to the police. The revelation confirms Hung was the Jeep driver in the earlier accident, linking back to Tong's guilt over Yee's death.

Ling is reunited with her mother Gao Min, and Tong walks away with Ling by his side, seeking redemption and continuing his duties as a Hong Kong police officer. The case closes and life begins to return to normal for the family.
