Barbie & Her Sisters in A Pony Tale

Barbie, Chelsea, and Stacie arrive with Aunt Marlene at the Alpine Riding Academy, nestled near the shadow of the Matterhorn. The campus feels nearly empty and Skipper stays behind with friends on her tablet. They meet Marlene's kids Max and Marie and begin settling into the stables and grounds.

Since Chelsea and Stacy are beginners, Marlene lets the horses pick them while Barbie freely selects her own horse. Chelsea is drawn to a small pony named Dash, while Stacie bonds with Pepper, a spirited mare. Barbie finds a suitable mount, Finnean, and Etienne storms in with a temper over the wrong color of ear warmers.

Three young men on horseback arrive and mock Stacy's fall, undermining the girls’ efforts. Theo flirts with Skipper, who, instead of joining the ride, uses her tablet to capture a photo that ends up mocking him as a Monkey. The moment foreshadows both tension and a budding connection.

Etienne leads Barbie’s sisters on a relaxed ride through the forest, insisting they stay at a careful walk to avoid spooking the horses. Barbie hopes to ride but accepts the slower pace, enjoying the scenery and the mood of the ride. The outing foreshadows the bond between rider and horse.

That night, Barbie notices a sign resembling a horse with pink markings and hears Etienne singing softly to calm the horses. He explains the Majestique legend, a mythical Swiss horse breed. A rude interruption by Phillippe hints at deeper rivalries and hidden ambitions.

Phillippe confronts Etienne with petty grievances about their past and his desire to prove Etienne wrong. He discovers a photograph that includes a subtle speck indicating a Majestique, using a magnifying glass to prove his point. He resolves to hunt the Majestique to exploit its legend and value.

Barbie rides Finnean on a solo quest to locate the mysterious Majestique and explores the woods. A pack of gray wolves threatens them, but the Majestique arrives in time, leaps over logs, and scatters the wolves with her immense power. Barbie is grateful for the rescue and renewed in her search.

Barbie frees Majesty from a rockfall and treats her injured foot, earning a guardian bond with the mysterious horse. Majesty’s pink mane hair gets snagged on a fence, which Phillippe later finds, convincing him that the Majestique exists. Barbie keeps Majesty’s existence a secret for now to protect her herd.

Stacie continues to train with Pepper for the Grand Prix, with Barbie and Etienne guiding her progress and emphasizing respect for the horse. Max and Marie argue about the gala theme, creating tension around Alpine’s hosting duties. Barbie encourages teamwork and patience to bring out Pepper’s best.

Dash wins the pony parade under Chelsea’s enthusiastic leadership. Theo delivers a strong dressage performance for Chateau Montagne, but Skipper steals the spotlight by dropping her devices and delivering a natural performance. Stacie and Pepper ride steadily, earning second place and keeping Alpine in the lead against their rivals.

At the Gala, Chelsea and Dash charm the crowd, while Theo and Skipper share a dance. A spooked horse during Chelsea’s ride throws her, and Etienne breaks his arm while trying to rescue her. With chaos spreading, Phillippe gloats about Alpine’s downfall, intensifying the stakes.

With no horses left at Alpine, Theo leads Barbie, Stacy, and Skipper into the woods to locate the missing horses. They discover Majesty and the herd joining with other horses, and Majesty leads them toward safety. Philippe appears, intent on seizing the moment, but Majesty flees toward her true group.

Barbie chooses to reveal Majesty to the crowd, hoping to save Alpine and its future. The audience recognizes Majestique, and Etienne is close to tears with joy. The final race starts, with Philippe attempting to sabotage rivals as Barbie and Majesty push toward the finish.

Brigitte, Philippe’s mother, calls out her son’s cheating, and Barbie rides Majesty to a dramatic victory. Hugo, Philippe’s horse, bucks and throws him into a manure pile, exposing his tactics. Alpine’s future looks brighter as enrollment soars and the academy is saved.

With the victory secured, Majesty returns to her herd rather than staying with Barbie in Malibu. The sisters and staff celebrate, and Barbie promises to visit. Majesty watches the departing group from a cliff, rearing and neighing a goodbye as they head to the airport.
