Sakshi sets out through the crowded streets of Mumbai in her search for a story. She ends up in a minor accident when her car is struck by an old man's scooter, jolting her ambitions but fueling her determination.

While resting, she notices the Tulsi Apartment opposite the cafe, the building tied to Tara Janaki's rumored death in 1993. The mystery of Tara's life and demise becomes the thread she wants to pull for her debut.

She decides to make a comprehensive film chronicling Tara's private life and the enigma surrounding her death. This decision sets her on a path of research, interviews, and old film footage.

In Tara's film photos, she spots Mirchi standing in the background, connecting the old man to Tara's life. The image hints at buried truths rather than just co-stars and scenes.

Realizing Mirchi may hold the long-buried secrets, Sakshi resolves to track him down. She understands that his memory could unlock the mystery of Tara's death.

Sakshi seeks refuge in the house of the prosperous Aala at the start of a shoot in Kerala. Aala is instantly taken with her beauty after glimpsing her on screen, and his entourage surrounds them.

Thara tells Aala she wants to escape her controlling adoptive mother Hema Janaki and Ragavendra Desai, the powerful producer. The tension between personal freedom and industry power becomes a core subplot.

While Thara hides in Kerala, police search for the actress missing from the film sets. Her relatives and industry people grow anxious as the case drags on.

The game is up and Thara is taken back to Mumbai by Ragavendra Desai and the adoptive mother Hema Janaki. Aala's claim to protect her fades as old powers pull her away.

Thara finishes her last film under Ragavendra's contract, but Ragavendra blocks any future opportunities. Aala, who followed her to Mumbai, suggests funding a new project: a woman-centric story about Rani Padmini.

To finance the project, Aala mediates with danger, committing crimes tied to a former anti-terrorist squad officer, IG Veera Raghavan. His involvement adds a layer of danger to the production.

Sakshi learns from Mirchi that Thara's death was not a suicide but a murder by Ragavendra Desai. This revelation reframes the entire narrative Sakshi is pursuing.

Enraged by the truth, Aala brutally kills Ragavendra Desai to avenge Thara's death. The act confirms the collision of art, crime, and personal vendetta in the story.

Sakshi completes the film and releases it under the title BANDRA. After the premiere, she receives an unknown call from Aala who is in Kazakhstan, hinting that the thirty-year story is far from over.
