Balram v/s Tharadas

A large cache of arms is discovered on the land owned by the local businessman Hussein Sahib. When the case lands on the desk of Inspector Varma, the investigation quickly digs into a messy web of money, power, and hidden loyalties. Hussein Sahib insists he knows nothing about the weapons, pushing the investigators to look deeper into the land’s history. The tale tightens its grip as the forceful Bhaskaran, a key figure in the case, resists arrest, and the tension erupts on the streets. In a sudden turn, a powerful hand interrupts the confrontation and brings down Bhaskaran, exposing the stormy truth that lies beneath the surface.

From this moment, the story tightens around Balram, a DSP who operates by his own rules and follows a sharply unorthodox method of investigation. Under interrogation, Bhaskaran drops a critical bombshell: Hussein Sahib’s son Salim is involved in the larger scheme. Hussein Sahib laments that his son disappeared a while back, and he has no idea where to find him. As the investigation accelerates, a flood of players seems to appear all at once, as if the monsoon season itself has arrived. In a rapid montage, a chorus of characters enters the frame—MLA Rani, a DGP, Balram’s boss, DYSP George, the policewoman Dakshayani, the Chief Minister, a minister named Mustafa, Srini, the editor of a yellow journal, and Ummar. With so many lines tangled, Balram deduces that the architect of this web is none other than Tharadas, and the scene shifts to Dubai to follow the money.

In Dubai, Tharadas meets minister Mustafa and conducts business, weaving connections and pressing for favors. He sends a ring across the channel to his girlfriend, the actress Supriya, stitching a link between power, romance, and leverage. As the plot threads tighten, Balram realizes that the only way to trap Tharadas is to pull Supriya into the frame and make the operation appear airtight. The plan sets in motion a dangerous trap that will test loyalties and blur lines between allies and enemies alike.

When Tharadas returns to Kerala, he confronts Balram head-on, determined to derail the net closing in on him. In the heat of the clash, Tharadas shoots down a former ally, DYSP George, who had turned against him, and Balram witnesses the act with a heavy mix of resolve and consequence. The confrontation culminates as Tharadas surrenders to Balram, closing a brutal chapter that exposed how ambition, influence, and violence intertwine in the politics and crime that defined this tangled tale.
