Badrinath Ki Dulhania

Badrinath Bansal comes from a wealthy family in Uttar Pradesh, where his father Amarnath is actively searching for the ideal bride for him. This matchmaking process feels more like an auction than a genuine quest for love, leading to Badri's frustration and resentment.

Amarnath's strict values restrict his educated daughter-in-law, Urmila, from pursuing her career ambitions. This suppression reflects the family's traditional mindset and sets the stage for rising personal conflicts.

Badrinath's elder brother, Alok, was once deeply in love with a girl named Sakshi. However, Amarnath's decision to arrange Alok's marriage with Urmila led to Alok's departure from home in protest, highlighting the family's obligation-driven dynamics.

At a wedding, Badri meets Vaidehi Tridevi and is instantly smitten by her charm. However, Vaidehi is a staunch feminist with strong distaste for dowry, creating immediate complications for their budding romance.

Upon locating Vaidehi in Singapore, Badri confronts her about her disappearance. Their disagreement intensifies, but the situation is exacerbated when local police intervene, finding Vaidehi unwilling to press charges against Badri.

As they spend time together in Singapore, Badri begins to adapt to Vaidehi's lifestyle. He takes joy in the mundane aspects of domestic life, while she surprises him with thoughtful gifts earned from her job.

During a public event celebrating his arranged engagement, Badri, fueled by emotion, discloses his love for Vaidehi in front of their families. The situation reaches a dramatic climax when Vaidehi unexpectedly arrives, leading to profound confessions from both.

A year later, life takes a heartwarming turn with Urmila giving birth to twins, changing family dynamics. Vaidehi returns after two transformative years in Singapore, aspiring to open her own air-hostess training academy, as she and Badri prepare for a bright future together.
