Back Street Girls: Gokudols

After learning their imprisoned Old Boss plans to remain in prison and eventually die, Kentaro Yamamoto, Ryo Tachibana and Kazuhiko Sugihara vow to make their new boss, Mad Dog Inugane, proud. They pledge to carry out his orders and prove their worth as his loyal enforcers.

The trio storm the rival boss's compound to eliminate him and cement loyalty to Inugane, but are captured. They discover that Inugane had already reached a truce with the rival, ruining their mission. They beg forgiveness for their failure.

Back at Inugane's base, the trio are given a brutal choice: commit seppuku and sell their organs or travel to Thailand to undergo gender reassignment and train to be idols. They choose the latter as a path to redeem themselves.

In Thailand, they undergo gender reassignment surgery and intensive idol training, emerging as Airi, Mari and Chika. The transformation marks their rebirth as the Gokudols.

Back in Japan, the trio debut as the Gokudols and begin to gain popularity, balancing their yakuza roots with their new idol personas.

Airi discovers their ex-girlfriend has a five-year-old daughter who believes she is the child; Airi grapples with the past and the truth about their own life.

Mari starts a romance with the lesbian nurse who treats her post-surgery hemorrhoids, adding complexity to their personal and professional lives.

Chika begins a relationship with Kimura, the assistant who knows Chika's past, complicating loyalties within the Gokudols.

The trio meet their old boss again and are encouraged to embrace their new selves as both idols and yakuza. They begin publicly embracing their image, visiting cake shops and reluctantly protesting the yakuza.

Koizumi drugs the Gokudols during an audition for the J-Pop Summit, intending to sexually assault them under a promised starring role for Chika. The group fights back, beating Koizumi, and he cancels the Summit while launching a smear campaign.

Koizumi hires private investigators to kidnap Airi's supposed family, Mari's girlfriend, and Chika's boyfriend to pressure the Gokudols into skipping the Summit. The Gokudols confront Koizumi's operatives and begin to push back against his manipulation.

The Gokudols confront Koizumi's henchmen to rescue the hostages; Chika is shot in the chest, and Airi fights to protect her. Inugane arrives and incapacitates Koizumi's remaining guards.

Inugane intervenes, reviving Chika with adrenaline, and the Gokudols rush to the Summit, change en route, and deliver a powerful finale performance.

In a mid-credits scene, Airi learns her ex-girlfriend has married another man and that the daughter is not Airi's; she faints at the news.

In the post-credits scene, Koizumi pleads for mercy and is sent to Thailand for reassignment surgery and idol training.
