Long-time lovers Mohini, [Poorna], and Harsha, [Harshvardhan Rane], marry and move into a newly bought house in a quiet, close-knit community where Harsha’s parents come to stay for a few days to oversee the rituals and ensure the marriage is not consummated before the auspicious time. Initially, the house feels welcoming, almost warm, but an unseen presence lurks within its corners. A voyeuristic spirit seems to drift through walls and hallways, and it becomes obsessed with Mohini, watching her with an unsettling, relentless curiosity as she changes clothes and takes showers. The atmosphere grows tense, and a sense of being constantly observed begins to gnaw at Mohini’s comfort, turning the home she thought would be a sanctuary into something almost accusatory and unnerving.
Across the street, their neighbor’s young son Vicky can see spirits and even holds conversations with them. On several visits to Harsha’s house, Vicky speaks with the same unseen presence, trying to describe what he perceives to the adults. Unfortunately, the adults dismiss his chatter as the wild imaginings of a child, leaving the boy to carry his visions in quiet frustration. The disconnect between what Vicky perceives and what the adults accept creates a growing chill that threads through the entire neighborhood, hinting that the supernatural may be closer than anyone realizes.
As the couple’s wedding day and the promised auspicious moment approach, Harsha’s parents depart, leaving Mohini to prepare for a brief Paris honeymoon. It is at this juncture that the spirit acts with a dangerous force—driven by lust, it attacks Mohini in a moment of vulnerability. Terrified by an invisible assailant who seems to appear from nowhere, Mohini escapes to the safety of a neighbor’s home. A visiting relative of the neighbors—a stern, elderly pious woman—summons the courage to help Mohini face what is happening, guiding her back toward the house. The relief is short-lived, however, as the old woman is brutally murdered by the same spirit, a cruel reminder of the danger that now stalks Mohini and Harsha.
The terrifying sequence continues as Mohini and Harsha are forced to endure one more night in the house before they can flee for good. That night proves deadly for both of them. The spirit possesses Harsha and makes a direct move to assault Mohini; in a desperate act of self-defense, Mohini injures Harsha in the struggle, trying to protect herself from the invisible attacker. The chaos settles into a haunting stillness, and Mohini’s testimony becomes the frame of the story as she narrates the events to the police, with the spirit—Raju [Ravi Babu]—still lingering beside her. The film closes with Raju continuing to shadow Mohini as she lies in a hospital bed, leaving a lingering question about what will become of her in the wake of this traumatic night and the lingering, unseen presence that refused to relinquish its hold.
