On the way back to Medellín, the van accidentally runs over the escaped iguana and the coffin falls into a stream. The friends reflect on lost youth and the devastation of their generation. The film closes with a dedication: For El Flaco, Carlos Bernal, who disappeared in Geneva on October 23, 1991.
