Akash Saraf, a Pune-based pianist, begins an experiment by pretending to be blind to sharpen his technique. He practices with opaque lenses and keeps up the act in public. The ruse sets the stage for a life built on a lie that attracts both opportunity and danger.

Sophie helps Akash to his feet after she accidentally knocks him over on the street and discovers he is a skilled pianist. Impressed by his talent, she helps him land an engagement at her father's diner. The interaction marks the start of a complicated attraction.

Tempted by his growing feelings for Sophie, Akash stops wearing his opaque lenses and begins to look, yet he continues to pretend to be blind in public. He and Sophie begin a romantic relationship under the pretense. The deception becomes the backbone of their connection.

During a private encounter, retired actor Pramod Sinha notices Akash and invites him to perform at his wedding anniversary. Akash travels to the Sinhas' flat for the intimate show. The invitation drags his life deeper into the web of secrets surrounding the family.

While Akash plays, he witnesses Pramod's dead body and a gun-wielding Manohar hiding nearby. Simi and Manohar dispose of the body in a suitcase and continue the act, leaving Akash to pretend nothing is wrong. The night tightens the noose around his secret life.

Akash notices Sakhu, a lottery ticket seller with a Lord Shiva tattoo, along with indications of Murli and Simi's network. The quick glimpses hint at a larger, criminal scheme that pulls him deeper into danger. He tries to stay inconspicuous while the world around him spirals.

A neighbor's child films Akash clearly seeing, shattering the illusion of his blindness. Simi uses the moment to stage a false affair with Akash, hoping to discredit him and drive a wedge between him and Sophie. Enraged and heartbroken, Sophie leaves the scene.

Awakening to find his act exposed, Akash is drugged and taken toward an illegal organ-harvesting operation led by Dr. Swami. The conspirators decide to spare him only to exploit his knowledge, while plotting to kidnap Simi and manipulate Manohar. A tense power struggle unfolds.

Murli and Sakhu turn on Akash, tying him up with Simi and fleeing with a counterfeit fortune after a botched plan to blackmail Manohar. At a critical rendezvous, Murli is shot by Manohar and the elevator trap seals Manohar's fate as he accidentally kills himself. The money proves to be fake.

Sophie finds Akash in Kraków and he recounts the entire saga to her. A flashing sequence reveals Simi's death in a car crash after a hare hits the windshield, ending the murder plot. Akash hints that he took Simi's cornea to restore his sight, ending the nightmare on his own terms.
