Anaamika

Anaamika, an IT professional, lands in Hyderabad determined to locate Ajay. She goes straight to the police to file a report, but the officers dismiss her plea. Only one officer, Sarathy, chooses to stand with her and begin a joint search.

Anaamika visits the hotel where Ajay last stayed; the manager denies his presence. She reconstructs the state of a room from Ajay's description, turning a closed door into a path forward.

On the streets, Anaamika befriends a curious boy named Raju who helps her navigate the city. He becomes a practical ally, offering clues and companionship in the search.

With Sarathy by her side, they dig into Ajay's life at the company and learn he had resigned two weeks prior. The revelation shifts the focus of the investigation from his work to his personal circumstances.

Raju reveals a troubling lead that four goons kidnapped Ajay. This information expands the pursuit to a broader criminal network.

The hotel manager eventually admits Ajay wore different clothes and that Ajay may have misled Anaamika to protect the hotel’s reputation. The confession complicates the case and broadens the mystery.

A police lineup yields no clear match, and mortuary records confirm that an unidentified body is not Ajay. The case grows colder as hopes fade.

Sarathy promises to introduce Anaamika to an informant the next day, and the informant hints at students discussing a kidnapping. The hint suggests a wider conspiracy behind Ajay's disappearance.

They seek help from an Imam who initially refuses due to prejudice against madrassas but ultimately assists them. He even compares Ajay s photo with a wedding portrait, confirming the connection. The Imam is killed by a mysterious visitor, cutting short a crucial ally.

At a wedding, Ravi Chandra, Sarathy s boss, offers help in exchange for an affair. Anaamika rejects him, then returns with a harsher condition: he must locate Ajay within 24 hours.

Ravi resumes the investigation but is murdered by the same killer who killed the Imam. Khan orders a proper reopening of the case, indicating that the truth is more complex than it appears.

Aanamika discovers a hard drive and begins sifting through its contents, dialing a string of numbers including the Home Minister. A raid hits her room, but she hides the disk; a video arrives showing Ajay and promising his safe return in exchange for the disk.

She agrees to meet the kidnapper on a bridge at midnight while Sarathy digs deeper and identifies Laxman, a key employee who pressured his sister into the kidnapping. Laxman's photo matches one found in the Imam s album, tying the threads together.

On the bridge, Laxman seizes the hard drive and Ajay is returned to Anaamika as police converge. The Home Minister demands the disk, but Khan and Sarathy decide to destroy evidence to protect the larger truth. Later, Anaamika confronts Ajay at People’s Plaza, killing him in self-defense and leaving the disk with Khan as she departs.

In the end, Khan resolves to keep Anaamika's secret safe, recognizing her ingenuity and courage.
