An Action Hero

Maanav Khurana arrives in Mandothi, Haryana to shoot a new film. His star aura draws the attention of Vicky Solanki, an ambitious local candidate hoping a meeting would boost his campaign. With a packed shooting schedule, Maanav pays little mind to the political hopeful, and when a brand-new Ford Mustang arrives, he drops everything to take the car for a long, heady drive.

A chase begins when Vicky pursues him, leading to a confrontation that ends with Vicky's death from blunt trauma after a headfirst fall onto a rock. The broken side mirror left behind becomes the key piece of evidence that points toward Maanav. The incident abruptly shatters the public's image of the action star.

Bhoora Solanki, Vicky's furious brother, publicly swears to avenge his sibling. The Haryana police quickly implicate Maanav due to the conspicuous side mirror from the Mustang, and sensational media coverage shreds his image.

To escape mounting pressure, Maanav retreats to his house in Portsmouth, UK. News of the incident travels across the border, complicating his already fragile reputation. He hopes distance will buy him time to clear his name.

Bhoora tracks him and escalates the hunt by killing two police officers who respond to a call near Maanav's Portsmouth home. The killings solidify Bhoora's vow and push public opinion from curiosity to fear, complicating any chance of a lawful exoneration.

With the net closing in, Maanav seeks help from Roshan, his trusted manager, hoping for a leg up in the UK. But his UK lawyer fails to respond, leaving him more isolated as his situation spirals.

Maanav's car runs out of gas, and Bhoora hijacks a stranger's vehicle to close the distance. A brutal trunk-locking standoff ensues, forcing Maanav to rely on his on-screen fighting skills to survive.

Hope returns when Sai, a sharp lawyer and fixer, promises dashcam footage that could prove Bhoora's murderous intent. Sai directs Maanav to a clandestine hacker contact in London to obtain the evidence, and Kaadir becomes drawn into the chase.

Sai is killed by Bhoora, and Kaadir is captured as a hostage and is later killed by Bhoora in a brutal turn of events.

With the footage secured, Maanav contemplates surrender to clear his name. As he kneels with his arms raised, strangers abduct him and whisk him away to a rooftop for a staged social media moment.

The rooftop becomes a backdrop for Katkar's plan: at a wedding in a hotel, Maanav is forced to dance to the bubbly 1980s hit Aap Jaisa Koi while Bhoora watches from the shadows. Katkar's henchmen close in and a violent skirmish erupts.

Maanav's martial prowess turns the tide; he defeats and wounds Bhoora, arguing that Bhoora's brother died in a freak accident, not at his hands. Bhoora's stubborn pride leads to Maanav finally killing him in a decisive on-screen combat. Katkar's death reveals a hidden, government-involved operation behind the scenes.

Seizing the opportunity, Maanav crafts a public narrative that Katkar was killed in a secret government operation, rehabilitating his image as a national hero. The media latches onto the story, and the embassy officer involved receives an award.

Maanav returns to India amid adoring crowds at the airport, now celebrated as a symbol of national strength and resilience. The narrative turnaround cements his resurgence in the public imagination.
