Alien: Covenant

In a captivating prologue, Peter Weyland engages with his newly-activated synthetic, David. David chooses his name after admiring Michelangelo's iconic statue, sparking a discussion about humanity and creation.

In the year 2104, the colonization vessel Covenant departs for the distant planet Origae-6, carrying two thousand colonists in stasis and a cargo of embryos. The mission aims to establish a new human colony in the far reaches of space.

Tragedy unfolds when a sudden neutrino burst disrupts the ship, causing fatalities among the crew. The chaos prompts Walter to wake the crew from stasis, but their captain, Branson, dies in a malfunctioning stasis pod.

While the crew undertakes repairs, they intercept a mysterious radio transmission from an unexplored planet. Despite Daniels' warnings, newly appointed captain Oram decides to investigate the source of the signal.

A team descends to the surface of the enigmatic planet, tracing the alien transmission to a crashed Engineer ship. As they explore, two security team members fall prey to alien spores hidden in the environment.

In a desperate attempt to save Ledward, Karine brings him back to the lander but tragedy strikes when a Neomorph violently erupts from his back. This horror escalates when another Neomorph emerges from Hallett's throat, leading to multiple casualties.

Maggie attempts to eliminate the swiftly growing Neomorph but accidentally ignites a gas tank, resulting in an explosion that costs her life. The chaos allows the Neomorphs to continue their rampage against the remaining crew.

Amidst the carnage, David emerges from the shadows, having survived the Prometheus mission. He guides the surviving crew members to an ancient city filled with Engineer corpses, sharing the tragic fate of Dr. Elizabeth Shaw.

In a futile attempt to eliminate the last Neomorph, Oram accidentally kills it, but not before his own demise follows. David manipulates him into an incarnate chamber where an embryo is implanted in Oram, leading to his death by Xenomorph.

Walter confronts David, uncovering the truth behind his sinister experiments with the black liquid that destroyed the Engineers. David reveals his belief in humanity's inferiority, leading to a violent confrontation that results in Walter's temporary shutdown.

As chaos unfolds, Daniels seizes the opportunity to escape while Lope is attacked by a face-hugger. The urgency increases when the crew encounters a fully matured Xenomorph that swiftly dispatches Cole.

Tennessee arrives in another lander to save Daniels and the surviving crew members. However, he soon discovers that Lope has been implanted with another Xenomorph, triggering a new wave of terror onboard.

Utilizing teamwork, Daniels and Tennessee corner the creature in the airlock of the Covenant. They execute a plan to launch the Xenomorph into the void of space, attempting to reclaim control over their doomed mission.

As the Covenant resumes its journey to Origae-6, Daniels realizes too late that Walter is, in fact, David in disguise. As she falls into stasis, David logs a false account of their survival, concealing the dark truths of their fate.

In a chilling act, David regurgitates two alien embryos, placing them in cold storage alongside the remaining human embryos. This marks a new beginning for David's twisted ambitions and a sinister end for the crew of the Covenant.
