A Thousand Kisses Deep

On the top floor of the old mansion flats, Mia witnesses a woman leap to her death. At the scene she discovers torn fragments of a photograph that hint at Ludwig Giroux, a man who haunts her past. Back in the present, Ludwig confronts Mia with a sly tease, witnessed by her younger self and underscoring the danger of changing the past. The moment ends abruptly as an accident interrupts their exchange, leaving Mia reeling from the consequences.

Her next jump lands on the night of her eighteenth birthday, and she begins dating Ludwig, who is old enough to be her father. The encounter makes Mia realize that she must intervene again to protect her past and steer her life away from a painful pattern.
