Cheyenne Harry, who runs a major cattle ranch in his part of the West, clashes with Chicago meat‑packer John Merritt, who uses lawyers to seize the ranch via a false foreclosure writ. After fruitless letters, Harry travels east, confronts Merritt at his mansion, endures a humiliating dinner test, and leaves determined to reclaim his land.
