A Dangerous Man

In Arizona, ex-Special Forces soldier Shane Daniels intervenes when his wife Holly is carjacked. The mugger is killed in the confrontation, and Shane becomes the prime suspect in subsequent events. The incident initiates a wrongful-accusation arc that will define much of his life going forward.

Shane spends six years in prison awaiting trial, his life on hold. New DNA evidence clears him of the murder, and the state issues a formal apology along with a $300,000 settlement. Despite being cleared, he learns Holly has left him, fueling his bitterness.

Upon release, Shane tries to pick up the pieces of his life but feels empty and exploited by the settlement. He buys a bottle of bourbon at a local liquor store and heads back onto the road, seeking meaning in a world that has moved on without him.

At a lonely rest stop, a state trooper is killed by two Chinese nationals who then target witnesses. Shane intervenes, killing one attacker and forcing the other to flee. He discovers an unconscious woman and a duffel bag of cash in the trunk, prompting him to flee with the woman and Sergey to the town of Bellingham.

Shane, Sergey, and the rescued woman Tia arrive in Bellingham, where Sergey reveals that Vlad is involved in selling stolen cars. The trio must navigate their precarious position with the law closing in and the chase intensifying around them.

Tia regains consciousness and begs Shane and Sergey not to turn her in. She explains she was trying to bring her Uncle Kuan into the USA, but Chen and the Colonel have other plans and intend to ransom him. The stakes widen as Kuan's fate becomes central to the danger they face.

Sergey leads Shane toward Vlad's restaurant, where Vlad resists helping the fugitives. Meanwhile, two Chinese men break into their motel room, prompting Shane to fight them off. The underworld ties begin to pull Shane deeper into a dangerous network surrounding Kuan.

Ritchie, Clark, and Chen's men descend on Vlad's home in a tense firefight. After eliminating Chen's men, Shane, Tia, Sergey, and Vlad regroup and decide to rescue Kuan from the Colonel's hands.

The Colonel positions Kuan at an abandoned mill, planting bombs and killing Chen's men while holding Kuan's escorts. A fierce gun battle erupts between Shane's group and the Colonel's men. Tia is shot, and Sergey carries her to safety as Shane faces the Colonel one-on-one, a dramatic struggle that ends with Shane triggering the bombs to detonate.

With bullets spent and bombs exploding around them, Shane defeats the Colonel and frees Kuan. Vlad helps ensure the group escapes the danger zone as the mill collapses around them, marking a hard-won victory that reshapes their futures.

Vlad confirms that Kuan can stay in the USA, cementing a precarious new alliance among the survivors. Shane, Tia, Sergey, and Vlad begin plotting a path forward away from the violent cycle that defined their past.

Shane and Tia, having grown close through peril, settle in an isolated glacier-side mansion outside the United States. Their new life represents a bid for peace after years of danger, loss, and relentless pursuit.
