Amero, a renowned carpenter, works in a woodwork company alongside six colleagues under stern boss Mr. Ketema. The group is tight-knit but riddled with camaraderie, rivalries, and unspoken tensions. The story sets the stage for a workplace where loyalty and ego collide as sawdust and ambitions fill the air.

Amy betrays Amero by having an affair, driving a rift between them. The couple decide to marry and plan to travel to the United States, with friends invited to witness the wedding. The invitation to the ceremony becomes the catalyst for the group's brewing plan to derail the event as an act of revenge.

During the wedding turmoil, Amero spins a fabrication about being a famed carpenter returned from the U.S. and speaks fluent English with ease. Helina becomes drawn to this confident, hollow persona, and their romance blossoms as she and Martha form a wary but intimate bond with him.

Amero and his friends create a men’s association that starts as a space to share sexual experiences and vent frustrations. It gradually adopts an undertone of surveillance, spying on Helina and Martha as the group’s mischief deepens and loyalties are tested.

Amero tries to sleep with Helina, but the moment is interrupted; their liaison is partly captured on a recording that surfaces within the group. When the phone dies, the evidence vanishes from view, leaving the truth about the encounter ambiguous and unsettled.

The next day, Helina's and Martha's circle questions Amero about the night’s events. He insists he did not kiss Helina, which unsettles the group and sows doubt among friends who had hoped for a different truth.

Helina and Martha begin plotting against the men’s group, while money becomes tight for Amero. He buys a bracelet for Helina, pretending it’s expensive, and Tejo covertly attempts to steal from Helina, deepening the circle’s paranoia. The bracelet is later found to be counterfeit, souring trust further.

At a hotel, Helina deliberately pushes Amero toward humiliation by damaging property—shattering a mirror and a beer bottle. She confronts him with the truth about the counterfeit bracelet and his lifelong deception, and though she abandons him, their confrontation leaves a mark on both.

Struggling financially, Amero considers leaving his job, but Ketema resists the departure. After an emotional standoff, Amero decides to step away for a while, a move that Helina later regrets as the dynamics in the workshop shift.

Helina seeks Ketema’s counsel and tasks Amero with designing furniture for her bedroom, rekindling a professional tension between them. She offers him a bonus, but he refuses it, prompting him to exit the scene and recalibrate his priorities.

Motivated by anger, Helina and Martha trail Amero to the workplace and confront Mr. Ketema. Helina erupts in a destructive outburst, smashing doors and attacking Amero’s friends. Yet, amid chaos, she seeks forgiveness and the lovers reconcile in a tender embrace, witnessed by friends who celebrate with singing.
