A 13-year-old boy named Yao, from a village in northern Senegal, embarks on an extraordinary journey to meet his idol, the renowned French actor Seydou Tall. Invited to Senegal to promote a new book, Tall returns to his ancestral homeland for the first time. Driven by his dream, Yao runs away from home and travels 387 kilometers to Dakar. Moved by the boy's determination, the actor abandons his commitments and joins Yao on the journey back to his village, discovering a deeper connection to his own heritage along the way.
