In a small African village, the story follows ten‑year‑old Bila, who forms a close friendship with an elderly woman, Sana. Though villagers label her a ‘witch,’ Bila affectionately calls her ‘Yaaba,’ meaning grandmother. When his cousin Nopoko falls ill, Sana’s traditional medicine proves to be the cure that saves her.
