Suraj, a mischievous young man, repeatedly disobeys and teases his mother, straining their relationship. His reckless behavior keeps them on edge and undermines the family’s stability.

Suraj learns that his father was a zamindar and owner of Swarna Palace who died owing debts. The family’s wealth evaporated, and their estate fell into ruin.

Determined to restore his mother’s happiness, Suraj vows to reclaim Swarna Palace at any cost. He believes recovering the estate will heal their broken fortunes and honor his father’s memory.

Suraj falls for Lilly, a petty thief with greedy traits, but she rejects his advances. The courtship becomes a test of Suraj’s resolve and loyalty to his mother.

Thota Ramudu, a local rowdy who bears a grudge against Lilly, taunts Suraj and harasses him publicly. The stress and confrontation take a toll, and Suraj falls ill as a result.

In the celestial realm, Yama and his aide Chitragupta misplace the Bhavishyavaani, a book of prophecies. It accidentally lands on the roof of Suraj’s house, drawing him into its predictions.

Using the book’s forecasts, Suraj quickly becomes wealthy, much to the astonishment of Thota Ramudu and others who doubted him. The newfound wealth marks a sharp turn in his life and plans.

Lord Brahma warns Yama and Chitragupta that they must retrieve Bhavishyavaani within a month or lose their powers. The celestial beings descend to Earth to seize back what was dropped.

Suraj fulfills his vow by repurchasing Swarna Palace and bringing his mother to live there, giving her a place she had hoped for and a sense of security again.

Suraj checks the Bhavishyavaani to see if Lilly would be his wife, only to learn that his mother is destined to die at 10 PM that very night. The revelation tests his devotion and resolves.

To grant his mother one last wish, Suraj stages a mock marriage with Lilly, hoping to buy time. The mother survives the night, but Lilly exposes the ruse, and the mother becomes angry, refusing to speak until he truly marries Lilly.

Yama and Chitragupta descend to Earth to recover the book, but they are mistaken for drama artists by the public, complicating the search. Suraj eventually discovers their true identities and begins to understand the stakes of the prophecy.

Suraj realizes that his mother’s survival depended on the two celestial beings’ inability to access Bhavishyavaani. He prepares to protect his mother and keep the book out of others’ hands.

Thota Ramudu abducts Suraj’s mother and forces the issue of the book. Suraj surrenders the Bhavishyavaani to save her, and Yama destroys Ramudu and retrieves the book. When Yama returns to claim his due, he discovers that Suraj’s mother now has a long life thanks to his earlier blessing.
