In the scorching summer of 1988, three friends—Alexis, Val, and Bev—embark on a road trip for a heavy metal concert in Indiana. Excitement fills the air as they begin their adventure, unaware of the bizarre events that lay ahead.

As they drive, a milkshake is suddenly flung from a mysterious blue van, splattering their windshield. This odd encounter sets the tone for a series of strange occurrences that unravel during their night.

Upon arriving at the concert, the trio experiences an unsettling sense of déjà vu when the same blue van appears again. The occupants express a strange eagerness for interaction, heightening the group's unease.

Val, ever the thrill-seeker, escalates the night's tension by igniting a firecracker. This act draws the attention of three boys—Ivan, Kovacs, and Mark—who are on their way to Los Angeles.

Alexis invites her new acquaintances back to her father's vacant mansion for a gathering. What begins as a casual meeting soon takes a dark turn as tensions and ulterior motives begin to surface among the group.

As the night progresses, the girls initiate a deadly game of 'Never Have I Ever', spiking their guests' drinks. This twisted game sets the stage for a sinister plot that furthers the chaotic atmosphere.

Tensions reach a breaking point when Ivan criticizes Alexis's extremist religious views, provoking a furious reaction. In a shocking turn of events, Alexis fatally stabs Ivan in a fit of rage, marking a turning point in the night's horrors.
