Viruman

Dhanam poisons herself after telling Muniyandi she would marry if he took her to the hospital; Muniyandi deserts her and lets her die. This brutal act exposes his narcissistic obsession with reputation and wealth.

Muthulakshmi discovers Muniyandi's affair and confronts him. He dismisses her pleas and tells her to cope, showing his callous prioritization of his own desires.

Muthulakshmi later burns herself to death. Viruman witnesses the tragedy, deepening the family trauma and the consequences of Muniyandi's behavior.

In a violent clash, Viruman chases Muniyandi with an aruval into the village court. The court urges restraint, but Viruman declares he cannot live with his father and asks to be raised by his uncles.

Tension grows between Viruman and Muniyandi, affecting the rest of the family. Viruman respects his brothers, while Thaenu praises Muniyandi and seems to side with him, even as Viruman harbors a secret love for Thaenu.

Selvam asks their father for help securing a job, but Muniyandi refuses. Viruman helps Selvam get a government job through MLA Pathinettaampadiyan, who insists Viruman sign away his mother's land to seal the deal.

Thaenu begins to reciprocate Viruman's growing feelings, softening the rift within the family and adding a new layer to the conflict.

Muniyandi discovers the relationship between Viruman and Thaenu and starts to openly disrespect Thaenu, pressing her to pay the remaining dowry from her sister's marriage. The tension intensifies around the romance.

At a village panchayat, Viruman urges Selvam to become independent from their father. Selvam decides to break away, which enrages Muniyandi, and Thaenu unexpectedly kisses Viruman, shocking everyone.

Muthukutty pushes to get their father to sign for the restaurant auction; Muniyandi initially rejects the idea. Muthukutty's wife suggests asking Viruman, who hesitates but ultimately agrees to help.

Muniyandi hires the village rogue Soonapaana to ruin Muthukutty's chance at the restaurant. Viruman realizes the plot and starts to thwart it, setting a trap for Soonapaana and his gang.

Soonapaana and his gang arrive and disrespect the restaurant staff, leading to a confrontation with Viruman. He defeats them, sending the gang to the hospital, while Muthukutty wins the auction in the ensuing chaos.

In a tense follow-up, Soonapaana mocks the family by waving sarees and vows to kill the son and father. The feud deepens as threats loom over Viruman and his relatives.

Ilango and Pathinettaampadiyan's daughter are dating, so Viruman orchestrates a plan for Ilango to slap him to please their father. Ilango complies, but Pathinettaampadiyan rejects Viruman's involvement and cancels Ilango's marriage; Ilango leaves in frustration.

Muniyandi develops kidney failure from alcoholism and receives a kidney donated by Balu. After a dangerous period, Viruman intervenes to save him during a later danger, and Muniyandi apologizes; Viruman forgives and they reconcile.
