Sidhu Shane Nigam is a wayward youth who grows up under the shadow of his studious elder brother Karthi and their mother. He struggles with academics and spends his days wandering with his friends, chasing distractions rather than study. His life takes a turn when he crosses paths with Sruthy Sona Olickal, a classmate connected to a friend’s girlfriend, and the two quickly fall for each other. Sidhu’s impulse-driven nature lands him in trouble—he lashes out at a guy trying to woo Sruthy and spreads rumors about her, which pulls him into a police station scene that his mother must intervene to pull him out of. Throughout this, Sruthy’s two uncles Baby James Eliya and Jomy Mathew Shine Tom Chacko run a moneylending business in the city, guiding—and sometimes manipulating—the younger crowd around them.
Baby, the elder of the two uncles, seeks political influence by running for a municipal post, but his bid is derailed by accusations of coercive lending linked to their finance business. Around this time, Sidhu realizes that Karthi also quietly loves Sruthy, which shatters him and makes him pull away from Sruthy. The couple ends up breaking up, with Sruthy choosing to return to her Dubai home and family, while Jomy warns Sidhu to stay away from the relationship—an admonition that Sidhu accepts because he has already started planning a different life.
Meanwhile, Karthi earns admission to a medical college after the entrance exams, while Sidhu fails his 12th-grade results. Their mother, hoping to secure a better life, buys a flat in the city with her life savings, only to be swindled when the real estate company downgrades the value andRefuses to refund. Sidhu confronts the office, sparks a confrontation, and ends up in police custody again. Jomy bails him out, but with a hidden agenda: to recruit Sidhu as muscle for their operations. He assigns Sudhi Koppa Sudhi Koppa and Jins Varghese Sudhi Koppa to rough up the councilor candidate, breaking his legs in a movie theater restroom and later having Jins file a false sexual assault case against him. The trio’s goal is to reclaim the mother’s money from the real estate outfit, a triumph that brings a temporary sense of relief and happiness to Sidhu’s mother, even as she grows wary of the dangerous company her son now keeps.
As Sidhu drifts deeper into the gang’s world, he is drawn into harassing Kuttan—an autistic man—along with his mother, to vacate a house tied to Baby’s family legacy. Karthi, who knows Kuttan from childhood, cares for him, and Sidhu’s relationship with Karthi strains as Sidhu’s circle grows more ruthless. After a visit to Karthi in his hostel, Sidhu has Jomy rough up Karthi’s seniors in a bar to silence ragging they suffered at the hostel, a decision that drives a wedge between the siblings. When their mother intervenes again, Sidhu walks out of the house, torn between loyalty and his own sense of right and wrong.
Sruthy returns from Dubai to check in with Sidhu as he goes to the railway station to greet her family, and she urges him not to waste his life as a henchman for her uncles, encouraging him to pursue a better life. Over time, their mother reveals more about their past, expressing regret for not being able to raise Sidhu properly because she was preoccupied with caring for the chronically ill Karthi, which softens the two brothers toward each other. Karthi reaches out, and the two share an emotional reconciliation, returning to their mother as a united trio. The three spend a great deal of time together with Sidhu’s friends, trying to reclaim something of their former bond.
Tensions erupt again when Kuttan’s mother, exhausted by Baby’s gang’s pressure to vacate the house, commits suicide by stepping in front of a train. Sidhu rushes to the police station to help Kuttan, only to learn that someone else has already taken him away, a moment that confirms Kuttan’s mental disability and his lack of involvement in his mother’s death. Sidhu then distances himself from Jomy’s gang, but Chimban [Anand Mukund] tries to provoke him, prompting a brutal fight in which Sidhu severely injures Chimban, sending him to the hospital. Sidhu confronts Baby for answers, but Baby warns him that he knew about Sudhi’s affair with Sruthy and cautions him not to meddle in her life.
Returning home, Sidhu discovers Karthi is missing, and he sets out again to find him. It emerges that Karthi had been protecting Kuttan by feeding him and had gone to check on him at night, wearing Sidhu’s baseball cap gifted by him. In the tragedy’s cruel turn, the mentally deranged Kuttan mistakes Karthi for Sidhu and kills him in a fit of rage, retaliating for the abuse he and his mother have endured. Sidhu eventually locates Karthi’s body and is overwhelmed by grief.
The film closes years later with Kuttan released from jail and a reformed Sidhu seeking out his former ally. He finds Kuttan and embraces him, signaling a hopeful chance at redemption after a life steeped in trouble, violence, and tragedy.
