Veendum Chila Veettukaryangal

Thirumuttathu Kochuthoma is a member of an acting troupe and supports a large family. Roy, the youngest son, has had an easy, spoiled childhood and dreams of stardom in the film industry, though he holds a diploma in automobile engineering and is unemployed.

Kochuthoma and Mary accompany Roy to rehearsals, returning home late and troubling Mary with worry. Paul, a banker, remains skeptical and criticizes their pursuit of fame.

Bhavana, a girl from a poor family, supports her mentally unstable mother by selling goods door-to-door. Roy meets her while looking for a heroine and is drawn to her, gradually falling in love.

Roy and Bhavana marry against Kochuthoma's wishes. Thoma asks the couple to move out, initiating their new life away from the family home.

Roy and Bhavana start their married life in Bhavana's small home. Roy remains lazy and avoids work while Bhavana begins to provide for the family, receiving no help from Thoma.

Roy meets movie directors and writers; when one director's car breaks down, Roy helps repair it. The director suggests that Roy should use his mechanical skills for vehicle repair, leading to a new and successful career.

Paul experiences financial losses as the bank closes. Thoma loses the money deposited for Lisy's marriage and becomes hospitalized from the stress.

With Roy's help, Lisy's marriage is conducted despite the turmoil. The act demonstrates Roy's growing responsibility and willingness to support his family.

Bhavana reveals to Roy that Thoma had orchestrated the events to teach him the value of hard work. Roy learns the truth behind the hardships and begins to understand his father's love and guidance.

With the family reconciled, Roy and Bhavana return to the Thirumuttathu home. The household resumes a united life, strengthened by Roy's new sense of purpose.
