Uninvited

In a genetic research facility, a mutant cat is placed inside a house cat for experiments. The house cat escapes captivity and begins a killing spree inside the facility. It ultimately slips away through an air duct to begin its voyage of terror.

The next day, the mutant cat jumps onto a truck driven by two men and brutally attacks them, causing the vehicle to crash. The double murder prompts panic and confirms the cat's lethal capabilities. The cat disappears into the night to continue its rampage elsewhere.

Multimillionaire Walter Graham and his associate Mike Harvey plot to flee criminal charges by taking a luxury yacht to the Cayman Islands. They assemble a crew and prepare for departure, intent on avoiding prosecution. The plan sets the stage for the cat's intrusion into the voyage.

Suzanne and Bobbi meet three boys Martin, Corey and Lance at the marina and invite them aboard as crew. The cat tracks Suzanne and ends up aboard after Walter reluctantly concedes it can come. Walter protests the invitation but is overruled.

The yacht sets sail and passengers celebrate with a party. The cat is aboard, and Walter's control over the cruise becomes a theme as the trip begins with underlying tension. The journey into the sea marks the cat's first direct proximity to the passengers.

Albert becomes intoxicated and is killed by the cat on the deck during the party. The crew later finds Albert's blood the next day and dismisses it as an accident. Martin, curious and methodical, notices the blood and suspects something more sinister.

Walter attempts to rape Bobbi; Mike intervenes and shoots Lance, who is wounded in the shoulder. The cat, enraged by the violence, bites Mike's Achilles tendon, signaling a venomous bite. The escalating chaos foreshadows the cat's lethal potential.

Mike's condition worsens rapidly after the cat's bite and he dies from venomous complications. The survivors dispose of his body overboard as tensions reach a breaking point. The cat's influence over the ship's fate becomes increasingly evident.

Later in the voyage, the cat bites Lance's fingers during an act of foreplay. Lance, resigned to his fate, commits suicide by jumping off the ship. Bobbi pleads for him not to, but fate seals their tragedy.

Corey tries to lure the cat into a trap using food in the engine room. When he shoots at the cat, a blast of steam from the engine destroys him. The cat remains elusive and dangerous on board.

The cat sabotages the yacht's food supply, and Suzanne eats bread that becomes poisoned, causing neck veins to pop and her sudden death. The poisoning escalates the ship's danger while the cat remains a threat onboard. The crew's hope of rescue dwindles as supplies dwindle.

A violent storm strikes and the yacht begins to sink. Walter, Rachel, and Martin evacuate on a lifeboat, while chaos surrounds the wreck. Walter is killed by the cat during the struggle to secure money and survive.

As the lifeboat drifts, Walter throws two briefcases of money overboard, hoping to salvage something. The cat crashes into the lifeboat, retrieves a briefcase, and clings to it as the survivors dump cargo and fend off the feline threat.

Rachel and Martin reach the Cayman Islands sometime later, surviving on two remaining briefcases of money. They begin life anew while the cat's fate remains uncertain, drifting toward human habitation.

The mutated cat washes ashore a distant beach and is found by a little boy who remains unaware of the danger. The film ends with the cat's unpredictable future looming over the quiet shoreline.
