Fifteen years later, Nate has adapted to life as a bartender in New York City. He uses his pickpocketing skills on wealthy patrons, trying to make ends meet while holding onto hope of reuniting with his long-lost brother.

Victor 'Sully' Sullivan, a seasoned treasure hunter, approaches Nate with shocking news about Sam. He reveals that Sam disappeared after helping him steal Juan Sebastian Elcano's diary, urging Nate to join him in the treasure hunt.

Nate and Sully orchestrate a plan to steal a golden cross linked to Magellan's crew during an auction. Their heist is complicated when they encounter Santiago Moncada and Jo Braddock, leading to an intense confrontation.

Nate and Sully travel to Barcelona, where they believe the treasure is hidden. They reconnect with Chloe, Sully's associate, who possesses yet another cross essential for deciphering Elcano's diary.

Following clues from Elcano's diary, the trio ventures to Santa Maria Del Pi, uncovering a hidden crypt. Inside, they encounter a trapdoor that floods the space as they try to access its secrets.

As the group unlocks a secret passage revealing a map to the treasure, Chloe betrays Nate, delivering the map to Moncada. This shocking twist raises concerns about her loyalties to their mission.

Sully confides in Nate about the ambush he and Sam suffered after retrieving the diary. He explains that Sam was shot during the attack, intensifying Nate's determination to find his brother.

The chaotic pursuit for treasure escalates as Braddock turns on Moncada mid-flight, assassinating him. Nate and Sully take advantage of the situation to stow away on Moncada’s Mercedes car for a dramatic confrontation.

After falling from the plane, Nate and Chloe discover Sam's clues to the treasure's location. They decipher the map’s true coordinates, leading them to the burial site while managing Chloe’s shifting trust.

Nate reaches the treasure site where the long-lost Magellan ships lay buried. Just as Braddock's team approaches, he reunites with Sully, preparing for the inevitable clash with the mercenaries.

A fierce battle ensues as Nate and Sully try to escape with the treasure while warding off Braddock's forces. Nate exhibits incredible skills, shooting down one of Braddock’s helicopters manned by her henchmen.

Braddock makes a final desperate move to stop Nate by dropping the ship's anchor with fatal consequences. In a twist of fate, this act leads to Braddock's demise as the ship collapses on her.

With the treasure in their possession, Nate and Sully face a choice as they decide whether to trust Chloe or move forward without her. Chloe, feeling left out, opts to follow them, seeking another chance at adventure.

In a post-credits scene, Nate's curiosity leads him to seek out an intermediary for a Nazi map. His encounter takes an unexpected turn, but Sully arrives just in time to save him from an imminent betrayal.
