Twin Town

Jeremy Lewis is one of the Lewis brothers: brash, impulsive and given to mischief. He mocks his sister Adie’s job and, along with his brother, spends much of his time joking around, taking drugs and stealing cars. His quest for revenge against Bryn Cartwright after their father Fatty’s accident propels the feud and drives him toward increasingly reckless actions that set off a chain of violence.

Fatty Lewis is the hard-working patriarch whose accident during roofing work becomes the flashpoint for the family’s troubles. He dies in the later explosion that destroys the Lewises’ caravan, and the twins fulfill his wish to bury him at sea. His death catalyzes the family’s collapse and the brothers' resolve to settle scores.

Bryn is a wealthy, powerful local businessman and small-time gangster who blames the Lewises for denying him compensation. He hires corrupt police and uses his influence to avenge the insult, escalating the feud into violence and murder.

Bonny is Bryn’s striking daughter who performs as a singer at a Swansea venue. The twins’ act of desecrating her performance becomes a catalyst for Bryn’s vow to get even and intensifies the feud.

Terry is one of Bryn’s associates and a police officer who helps orchestrate the gang’s plans. He commits violent acts against the Lewises and becomes complicit in the corrupt alliance between crime and law enforcement.

Greyo is one of Bryn’s police allies who participates in the scheme to subdue the Lewises. His relations with the other officers reveal a culture of graft that undermines justice.

Adie is the Lewis sister whom the twins mock for her job. She represents the family’s more ordinary side and provides a contrast to the escalating violence around them.

Lucy is Bryn’s wife and the Cartwright family matriarch who reacts with shock to the escalating violence. She discovers the murder, and her clash with Bryn and the twins underscores the collateral damage of the feud.
