Transformers One

The ending of Transformers One reveals that the true history of Cybertron is darker than anyone believed. Orion Pax, once just a humble miner from the lowest classes, embarks on a perilous quest to find the lost Matrix of Leadership, which once held the power to sustain the planet’s Energon supply and unify the Transformers. Inside the cave where the Primes were defeated, Orion and his friends discover the wreckage of their fallen heroes and the empty, powerless Matrix. As Alpha Trion, one of the last remaining Primes, is revived, he uncovers a horrifying truth: Sentinel Prime, once a Prime himself, had betrayed his brethren by secretly allying with the Quintessons—a race of enemies that sought to control Cybertron. Sentinel had made a deal with them to secure his own power, sacrificing the other Primes and the planet’s future in exchange for personal gain. This revelation ignites a fierce conflict, with Orion seeking justice and D-16 driven by anger, leading to a split where D-16 turns against Sentinel Prime and even killers Orion in a fit of rage. However, Orion is resurrected with the powers of the Matrix and transforms into Optimus Prime, the heroic leader of Cybertron and its people. Meanwhile, D-16’s descent into darkness is complete as he becomes Megatron, the feared villain who commands an army of renegade robots. The film ends with the clear setup for future battles between Autobots and Decepticons, highlighting themes of betrayal, sacrifice, and the rise of heroism from humble origins. This final twist underscores the long-standing chaos and treachery underlying the Transformers universe, setting the stage for the ongoing war that will continue to unfold in subsequent films.
