Sixty-five million years ago, during the Cretaceous period, a powerful group known as the Creators unleashed devastating Seeds. This catastrophic event resulted in the extinction of most life on Earth, reshaping the planet for millennia to come.

In the present day, geologist Darcy Tyril stumbles upon a mysterious dinosaur skeleton covered in an unusual metal. This discovery hints at secrets buried deep within the Earth and the existence of powerful forces at play.

Five years after the Battle of Chicago, public sentiment towards Autobots has shifted significantly. While they find some sanctuary, fear and suspicion take root as a clandestine CIA unit, Cemetery Wind, prepares to eliminate them as threats.

Cemetery Wind, led by Harold Attinger and James Savoy, conducts secret hunts for both Autobots and Decepticons. Their real target is Optimus Prime, as they partner with Transformer bounty hunter Lockdown to execute their plan.

Inventor Cade Yeager and his friend Lucas uncover an old truck, only to realize it is the injured Optimus Prime. This fateful discovery leads to a whirlwind of events that threaten their very existence.

Joshua Joyce, the mind behind KSI, showcases a new metal called Transformium, capable of being programmed. He also unveils Galvatron, a new entity infused with the essence of Megatron, complicating the conflict.
