Peter Gothar’s view of society continues here. A family’s vacation turns stressful when the wife falls ill, prompting a return to Budapest for treatment. While she stays in the hospital, the husband visits his family. The screenplay by Hungarian writer Péter Esterházy blends surrealism with a portrait of a post‑communist world where ideals have vanished, leaving people disoriented.
