Three Days of the Condor

Joe Turner, a CIA analyst, begins his day working at the American Literary Historical Society. His role involves cataloging texts which will be cross-referenced with CIA operations, highlighting the monotony of his life in intelligence.

On a rainy December morning, a mysterious man in a sedan outside begins marking off the names of Joe and his colleagues. Joe remains unaware that he is being surveilled, leading to a tense atmosphere as danger lurks nearby.

Following a frustrating morning awaiting a response from CIA headquarters, Joe decides to break protocol and discreetly leaves for lunch through a basement door. This choice unknowingly sets him on a path towards chaos and danger.

Upon returning from lunch, Joe discovers the brutal scene of his coworkers' murders. This shocking moment is the beginning of his frantic fight for survival, forcing him to take decisive action.

In a desperate bid for safety, Joe finds a payphone and calls the CIA, identifying himself only by his code name, 'Condor'. He informs them of the attack but grows increasingly anxious about the lack of immediate support.
