On the way, a demonic creature snatches Skylar from Dan’s grasp, leaving him and the others to grapple with the shocking reality of what is happening to her. They reach the church and are welcomed into the sanctuary by Pastor Shay, who becomes their guide in a world where faith and fear collide.

Within the church, the group is joined by a tense mix of familiar faces and strangers. As The Fallen begin to assault the church, Shay sacrifices himself to shield the rest, buying them precious time to regroup. Morning brings a harsh reality: Skylar dies from the injuries infused with demonic venom, leaving Dan heartbroken and furious at the divine mystery behind their suffering. He is overwhelmed by grief and is suddenly struck down in a brutal, otherworldly way, while Allison also loses her life as the danger outside closes in.

Sam shares a video showing Allison choosing God in the moments before she is killed, a stark reminder of the stakes at hand.
