A team of investment bankers, led by Linda Bachmann, anticipates a stressful weekend at the remote Scottish estate of Lord and Lady Macintosh. The annual balance sheet is concerning, tensions are high among colleagues, and rumors of restructuring loom. Adding to the unease, the estate itself is uncomfortable, the cook’s abilities are questionable, and a young seminar leader’s methods are peculiar. When the Lord’s peacock and the Lady’s goose mysteriously disappear, chaos erupts, and a heavy snowfall isolates the group, trapping them with mounting suspicion and unresolved issues.
