During a Christmas dinner, an Argentinian family is thrown into turmoil by the unexpected death of their wealthy uncle. As relatives eagerly anticipate a substantial inheritance, a woman dramatically arrives, claiming to be the deceased's wife. The family patriarch, fearing the loss of his fortune, impulsively hides the body and orchestrates an elaborate scheme to stage a kidnapping, hoping to receive a ransom payment equal to the inheritance.
