While looking into a store clerk’s disappearance, two officers are led to a strange girl’s house, where they uncover a psychopathic landlady who has hidden the boy’s corpse—and dozens of others—in the wine cellar. One officer is wounded, the other kills the killer. The surviving officer, Francis, finds the terror far from over as a new nightmare looms.
