Shmaya, a small‑time magician in northern Israel, meets Oshra, a woman with genuine mystical powers. He adds her to his act and they perform real miracles that astonish audiences. When his dying father, a respected spiritual leader, summons him to succeed him, Shmaya takes the community’s mantle, but his attraction to Oshra threatens his new role.
