American mother Beth travels to Croatia for a holiday with her best friend Kate. Feeling disconnected from her husband, she looks forward to a getaway that might help rekindle their relationship.

During their trip, Beth confides her worries about her marriage hitting a dull patch to Kate. In an atmosphere of drinks and music, they discuss making bold choices to revitalize their lives.

While clubbing, Kate suggests that Beth should have a one-night stand to break free from her monotonous life. This idea plants a thought in Beth’s mind about seeking adventure and excitement.

The next morning, Beth wakes up with a foggy memory of the previous night’s events. She soon realizes that her friend Kate is missing, sparking immediate concern and confusion.

Beth contacts her husband Rob and the police, but both display a dismissive attitude towards her concerns. Feeling alone and desperate, Beth seeks help from Zain, a taxi driver who took them to the club.

With Zain’s help, Beth discovers Kate's purse and phone. They uncover that the men from the previous night were escorts who had drugged and robbed them, intensifying the urgency of finding Kate.

Upon learning that Kate is still missing, Beth returns to the police department to initiate an official investigation. However, her husband Rob arrives and immediately shows distrust towards Zain, complicating matters.

The footage shows Kate being robbed by the escorts and later returning in a different car. This discovery leads Beth to suspect that Pavić, a policeman, may be involved in a cover-up.

Beth confronts Pavić, suspecting him of being complicit in Kate’s disappearance. During their struggle, Pavić falls to his death, leading to a further unraveling of the truth.

After Pavić's death, authorities conclude that he was responsible for Kate's demise. Beth is finally declared innocent, but the trauma of the events lingers.

Back in London, Rob seeks to reconcile with Beth, but she is haunted by recent revelations. Discovering evidence of Rob’s guilt becomes the final straw, leading to his arrest and Beth’s departure.
