The Tower (2019) Plot Summary & Ending Explained

The ending of The Tower reveals the tragic and complex truth behind the deaths of Farah Mehenni and PC Hadley Matthews. Throughout the series, it becomes clear that the fall wasn’t simply an accident but the result of a series of reckless and racially charged actions. Farah, desperate to protect her family after being mistreated and vilified by certain officers, took drastic measures by abducting Carrie Stoddard's son and taking him onto the roof of Portland Tower. During a chaotic, emotionally charged attempt to rescue the boy, Lizzie Adama, trying to prevent further harm, ends up losing her footing.
