In a world of dragons and steam‑powered flying machines, ten‑year‑old Marta sets out to rescue her brother, kidnapped at Christmas by an impostor Saint Nick who wants the child’s innate ability to locate gold. She’s joined by the wise philosopher Orlando; together they evade a sleeping dragon and escape a tower prison.
