The Son of Bigfoot

A helicopter chases Dr. Harrison at HairCo. grounds. He leaps into a river to escape capture, setting up his disappearance and the later reveal that he is alive.

Adam Harrison lives with his mother Shelly in Portland. He endures bullying from Tony, Dale and Garcia at school, while a kind girl Emma harbors a mutual crush on him.

Over time, Adam finds his feet grow, his hearing and vision sharpen, and his hair resumes growing overnight despite Shelly's attempts to cut it. The strange changes hint at a hidden lineage.

Adam learns from Shelly’s hidden box that his father is not only alive but in a forested refuge. He sneaks out to find him, driven by a mix of hope and fear.

In the woods, Adam realizes his father is Bigfoot, living to protect his family from Eastman’s plans. Bigfoot has kept to the forest to stay hidden from HairCo.

A truck driver, Fat Dan, nearly hits Adam but saves him with a quick hero moment. He captures the encounter on film, and the footage makes the newspaper, spreading the sighting.

Adam gains superpowers like supersonic hearing and vision, incredible speed when barefoot, healing, and the ability to speak to animals such as Tina the red squirrel and Wilbur the bear. The forest comes alive as his animal friends help him learn control.

Hearing of the sighting, Eastman traces the trail to Bigfoot. Shelly is captured, and Eastman’s men sweep the forest in search of evidence, tightening the net around Adam.

Adam is apprehended by Eastman’s forces and used as bait to lure Bigfoot, who is also captured during the ensuing pursuit.

Dr. Billingsley and Eastman test a hair sample on an intern, causing extraordinary hair growth across the intern’s body. The bizarre side effect underscores HairCo.’s dangerous ambitions.

With the animals’ help, Adam sneaks into HairCo. and reaches Bigfoot. Bigfoot resists cooperating, triggering Adam to activate the facility’s fire alarm and chaos ensues as they plan an escape.

Adam helps trigger a chain of events that releases toxic gases from the control room. They flee as the building erupts in chaos; Adam heals Bigfoot, bringing him back to life after a critical moment.

Back home, Shelly is watched by Eastman’s guards but she overpowers them and heads out to rescue her family. The fight shows her courage and marks HairCo.’s downfall.

Eastman confronts Adam and Bigfoot outside. He tries to seize Adam, but Bigfoot is flung off a bridge. Adam uses a flare to ignite the building’s toxic gases, destroying the facility, while Shelly tranquilizes Eastman.

Bigfoot returns home and the animals join the family. Eastman is arrested for illegal activities, and Adam and Emma walk to school. He tosses his shoes onto a telephone wire as his feet burst free, signaling a new life.
